- 财富只是帮助人们增加幸福感的一种工具,真正带来幸福的,不是财富本身,而是积极情绪,投入感、目标与意义、成就感等。当我们为登顶而不懈努力,也切勿忘了欣赏沿途的风景。
- 幸福是一种自我体验与感受。我们缺乏的不是幸福,而是发现幸福的双眼,体验幸福的内心与走向幸福的方向。
- 幸福的奥秘在于你的理解、你的心态、你的选择。权利、金钱、声望都是获取幸福的手段,而不是目标。
- 我曾经深信胜利可以令我快乐,可以缓解我长期以来的空虚感。认为至少有一条看似行得通的幸福之路,那就是我必须通过身体或心理的艰难与忍耐去赢得冠军,通过赢得冠军获得成就感,而成就感一定能让我最终获得幸福,这是我曾经的幸福逻辑。
- 出人意料地,那些我以为会保持很久的成就感、那些我最珍视的来之不易的喜悦,忽然间消失得无影无踪,失落和空虚再次占据了我的内容。我忽然感到迷茫和恐惧,泪水奔涌而出。
- Most people would define optimism as being endless happy, with a glass that's perpetually half full. But that's exactly the kind of false cheerfulness that positive psychologists wouldn't recommend. "Healthy optimists means being in touch with reality." says Tal Ben-Shahar, a Harvard professor. According to Ben-Shalar, realistic optimists are those who make the best of things that happen, but not those who believe everything happens for the best.
